Day 5... Or is it Day 6?

Even if we are changing the date on calendar religiously, the thoughts are no more ‘Oh! It’s a Sunday.’ How life has changed in about 2 weeks, we are counting days of lockdown now and worrying ‘Will it be extended?’
So many of us are working from home and to be honest it is getting quite overwhelming to manage work, household chores and kids all together now that the household helps and the babysitters are not able to step out of their homes. And on top of that regular re-filling of the handwash bottles and sanitizing different corners of the house. Not to forget, the oft-repeated and mostly irritating query, ‘Did you wash your hands? 20 seconds?’ which are generally replied with an ‘Uff..!’
Whatsapp messages read more like ‘Hope you guys are ok? Hope you are not stepping out of home’. There’s more video calling than usual, sometimes even with the neighbours, as it is the next best alternative to not meeting in person. And the constant worry, ‘When will it all get over? When will we get to meet?’ Little did we imagine all this!
I called up the parents of some of my students to enquire about their well being. At this time, many parents are scouring the internet on how to keep their kids busy and entertained, especially the outdoorsy ones. At the same time, most of the parents are worried about keeping their children in touch with books and studies. For those students, I am trying to write some study material and worksheets. Click these links study material worksheets to see them.
I will keep writing them whenever I find some time amidst all the household chores and babysitting. So please subscribe to this blog for regular updates. If you find them useful, please share them with other parents. Also, I would love to hear your views and opinions in the comment section.
